D makes me laugh
I was folding laundry tonight and I asked D to go get me 3 hangers for his shirts from his closet. He ran right off to do it and came back with just what I asked for. This is what he told me "Here is one, two, three hangers. I had to take the clothes off before I could bring them to you." He makes me laugh about something everyday.

We have CHICKENS!!!!
We decided to embark on a new adventure. We got some baby chicks. We got them a couple of weeks before Easter and they are pretty big now. We have 6 and we still don't know if we have roosters or hens. We got them for eggs right now but we might eventually try to hatch our own chicks. We thought it would be a good learning experience for the boys and we would get some food out of the deal. I never would have thought growing up in the city that I would have chickens someday but I am actually enjoying them. They are pretty self sufficient. We give them food and water once every 10-12 days and change the shavings less often. They definitely require a lot less than the dog.
I took these a few days after we got them.
D's liked to pick them up and try to rub their bellies. While they didn't really like it, they tolerated it. They are way too big for that now.
I took these 10 days after the first ones. They grow and change really fast. They are really pretty ugly when they are between fuzz and feathers. They really pretty now though.
This is G helping me get the coop ready for the chickens.
You can tell he was very helpful undoing everything.
They seemed to like their new home. These were a couple of weeks ago. I need to take new pictures so you can see how pretty they look now.

Birthday Party for G
We had a little Dr. Seuss party for G first birthday. We had a great time and if anyone I know is every in need of red, white, and aqua decorations, I've got you covered. I had somethings planned that didn't happen but he will never know. I have already decided that next year I am just going to have a joint birthday party to save myself some time and work. I already know the theme. Yes, I am that OCD. G didn't really care for the cake at all. I thought it was because he didn't like sweets but I gave him powdered sugar donuts a few days ago and he loved those so I don't know why he didn't eat it. I didn't get many pictures of the actual party because I was running around doing stuff and my sweet husband was running the video camera. We got a few and that is all we need.
He carries lots of things around like this. It is way easier to crawl if you don't have things in your hands.
This is as messy as he got.
This is one of the gifts he got that was a hit with kid there.
This kid loves his daddy. He will stand and talk to him for the longest time. He repeats every noise that daddy makes and just loves to stand by him. Daddy is the only one that G will give kisses. He is pretty sure that his daddy hung the moon.

This is So Late......
Baby G is ONE!!!! I can't believe it. This year has gone so quickly. Just the other day we were thinking about all those days we spent in the camper waiting for his arrival. We has been very blessed with him. He is so happy. He loves his daddy and his brother, although I don't really know why. At his one year appointment he was 23 pounds and 32 inches long. I don't remember how big his head is but it is in the 95%. He has a big head but it fits his body. He is wearing size 5 diapers and 24 month shirts and oneies and 18 month pants (not for much longer though). G is about the size D was when he was 2. It is strange. The only why to tell if they look the same is to look at D 2 year old pics to the ones of G now. G is wearing size 5 shoes but also some 6s. He is just going to be a big boy. He still only has 2 teeth and is not walking yet. He walks while holding on to things and has started acting like he might take a couple of steps. If he is close to something he will take like a half step to get to whatever it is. I think he will be walking soon and I don't think I am ready for that and I know that D isn't.
There are a lot of pictures here but I wanted to show how hard it was to take his picture this time. He really wanted nothing to do with it at all.
He didn't like the tree at all.
He didn't like the flower pots either.
