I went and picked up the papers yesterday to register this kid for kindergarten. He is so excited. He will be attending one of the schools that I taught at so I feel good about the people he will be with everyday. They showed him his classroom, the cafeteria, and the gym. Plus we spent a few minutes on the playground. He is ready, the problem is that I am not. I could cry just thinking about having to send my baby to spend his days with someone other than me. I know that it is part of growing up and that it will be good for my little social butterfly but it is hard!!! I now have to think about school supplies and school clothes. This is new territory for me. I will be alright after I cry every day for the first week and I know he will love it. It will become our new normal but right now it just seems hard. I will miss having his smiling face around all the time and the random I love yous through out the day. Like I said, it is time to grow up.

RAIN!!!!
We have had more rain this summer than we have had in about 3 years. It has been very nice. The bad things is that we have mosquitos that we haven't had in 3 years. I would rather have rain and a few more bugs than no rain at all. At one point we got around 7 inches in a 3 or 4 day span. We had some really nice puddles afterwards. The boys loved them.
I tried to get them to play in the mud also. G was having no part of that messy stuff.

Easter 2014
This year we had most of the family together at Granny's for an Easter celebration. It was nice for all of us to be together. We don't get all of these people together as often as we should. The kids had a blast hunting eggs and everyone left with more candy than they will ever eat. I am pretty sure I still have some of ours in the pantry. Thanks Granny for letting us invade your space.

New niece
We have a new niece. Yes she was born in April so she is almost 3 months old but she is still new. She joined our family April 15th at 8:24 AM weighing 8 lbs. 13 oz. and 20.8 inches long. She is a precious little person and I am looking forward to watching her grow. We love you little L!!!
This is my sister's best friend and my other little sister. She had a baby girl in March so little L has a best friend already.
This is the two babies together.
This is baby S!! She and L are going to cause lots of trouble as they grow up.

G pitching the ball
We had a little ball and bat set to play with while we were at the river. G wanted to pitch so we let him. He has a very interesting way to do it. He knows it is supposed to hit the bat so he just walks the ball right up to it. Not so convenient for the batter but it accomplishes G's goal. He makes me laugh every day.
