I can't believe he's 4

The computer is not letting me put pictures right now so I will try that again later.  It blows my mind that he is 4 now.  He is growing and changing some much everyday.  His mind amazes me all the time.  The things he remembers and what to know are so detailed.  He ask questions that I don't even know the answers to all the time.  He has filled my life with so much joy, even on the days he is trying.  I wouldn't trade him for the world. D is all boy and loves everything truck and car.  He has to be moving all the time and wants to know everything about everything.  The past few weeks his favorite question has been "Why?"  D is really into monster trucks right now and never goes anywhere without at least one.  He can be really sweet with his little brother.  He makes me smile everyday.   He is a great kid and I love him with all my heart.  Thank you big guy for being the kid that you are.  Mommy and daddy love you more than you could ever know. 

 



"The Big Show"

Lately I have spent lots of time watching "The Big Show."  We have one at least 5 times a day and I must see each one.  These consist of D driving his monster trucks over cars that he pretends to smash. They jump in the air and usually roll over at the end.  He wants you to see how fast they are and how far they fly.  Sometimes I am asked to join until I don't follow the "rules" and then I have to leave.  He has a certain way that you are supposed to do everything.  The cars have to be in the same order, in a perfect line, and you can only drive your truck one way.  Also you can't actually touch the cars that you are trying to smash because they might get out of their straight line.  He is very picky about his shows.  He loves monster trucks.  We are taking him to see them in person in about 6 weeks and I hope he still likes them after he sees how loud they are.  Right now they are his favorite thing.  He even sleeps with them.  I can't really tell you which one is his favorite because it changes every 5 minutes or so.  

Pernell Christmas

We had just about everyone here at the same time for Christmas and that doesn't happen very often.  We were missing one brother-in-law because he was working.

I don't think I have taken a single picture since this night.  I guess I will have to get busy doing that soon.

Our cousin H is 5

Cousin H's birthday is on the 27th and it just happened to be the same day we were having Christmas with my husband's family.  We had a little cake for her before we started our Christmas things.  Of course, her cake was cover in pink and princesses.  I will never have either of those things in my house, oh well.  I get to have monster trucks.

When we got home from my parents house, we had Christmas at our house with the boys.  I was kind of impressed with myself because I made us our own Christmas dinner.  I even made dressing and was told it wasn't too bad.  I don't eat it so I had to take my husband word for it.  I was just proud of myself for trying.  I am much more of a baker than a cook.

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve with my family.  I didn't take that many pictures because I was busy helping the boys open theirs.  I guess that happens when you have kids.  I also didn't take many pictures of the before and after activities.  I was actually kind of sad when I got home and realized how few pictures I ended up with.  I might have to get some from my sister if she has more.

New Teeth

G got two new teeth within like 2 days of each other.  These pictures are not that great but you can kind of see them.

Nine months

G was 9 months old on Christmas Eve so it was kind of hard to take pictures of him because he was distracted by all of the activity.  I have a few though.  He started crawling and got two teeth this month.  He was busy.  I have no idea what he weighs or how long he is and won't for a couple of weeks when we go to the doctor.  He is wearing 18 month clothes and size 3 or 4 shoes.  The shoes he wears most of the time are the shoes D was wearing when he started walking.  He is still a pretty happy baby but he is getting louder about telling us he is upset.  He likes bathes and does okay in the car for a while, but he does get tired of it.  One of the sweetest things is listening to him giggle at D.  He does it a lot in the car but also sometimes at home.  He loves his brother and his daddy a lot.  He is still unsure of big groups of people, but is getting better about that also.  Right now he is not pulling up or really standing at all, but he looks like he is thinking about it.  I am sure he will start that very soon.
