We got tickets for D to a Monster Truck show sometime before Christmas. We finally got to go a couple of weeks ago. He liked it for about 2 hours which was longer than I thought he would last but we missed the best part of the show, the tricks. We learned that with little kids it would be better to show up about an hour late a miss all of the timed races. They are kind of boring. It was also loud and dirty and he got tired of the ear protection he was wearing. He was pretty good the whole time we were there.
This is when the trucks were coming in.
They all drive in and park until it is their turn to race.
Racing
These were just little bitty cars they had driving around between racing rounds.
This bus also came out between racing rounds and D told me it was his favorite thing.
The same weekend as the monster truck show, we went to my nephew's first birthday party. His mommy working really hard on it and it turned out really cute. He even took his first steps during the party for everyone to see. I can't believe he is one.
Our baby G has this same toy and he seemed to think it was his. He also didn't know what was on the kids head. He doesn't have that stuff.
